The first of the Grand Masters has arrived. This mighty mounted hero represents the leader of the Wolf Order charging into battle at full speed, hammer in hand and cloak flowing behind him. Every part of the miniature has been carefully posed to capture the feeling of movement: the horse is in full charge, making a slight turn to the right, while the rider leans forward as if he has just struck a devastating blow with his hammer. One of the key details of this model is the way the reins have been designed. The rider's hand is sculpted gripping the rein, while the horse also has the rein sculpted onto it. The separation between both parts is hidden by the rider's hand, creating the illusion that everything is connected while keeping the rider and horse as separate pieces. This also makes assembly much easier, as the reins help guide the rider into the correct position on the saddle.
